Head Chef Anton Ventslav, from our sister property in Bali, The Menjangan, is the visionary of the Theato concept and the driving force behind the team. He has developed the menu in close collaboration with local Cambodian team members, creating an imaginative and authentic list of culinary delights. This same team brings essential experience in local Khmer cuisine to ensure quality control for every single dish that leaves the kitchen.
Among the gourmet dishes on the all-day dining menu are Mekong Riverside Broth with giant prawns, wood apple, jicama and star fruit; Seared Beef Salad with soft poached egg, aramanth, turmeric flower and red tree ants; the South Cambodian classic Kep Crab and Kampot Pepper Stir-fry; and Pumpkin and Coconut Panna Cotta with toasted pumpkin seeds, watermelon and mint granita.
There is a wide selection of wine and signature cocktails, and Theato opens daily from 7am to 11pm.
